I am currently designing a Bucks Point fan made up of three segments. I've completed the first, and want to rotate it through 60 degrees for the second segment, and the rotate again for the third segment.

I have gimp threads making rows of circles. Because I'm not very good at drawing curves, I've used the circle shape to draw these gimps. I've used the group select tool to select all of the elements and then rotate left by entering -60 degrees. Problem is that the part of the design made of circles don't rotate. So I end up with the design rotated to where I want it, but the rows of circles remain where they were on the screen before I did the rotate.

Any suggestions?

Hi Have you tried tracing over your curved shapes with the original draw and click curved line. That way it will give you a shape to draw to and practice in using the curved drawing tool. Hope that helps.

That could be a solution, but I will NEVER be any good at drawing curved lines - have enough trouble drawing straight ones without "snap-to-grid" switched on. :-)
